For those of my readers in the New York and New Jersey area, I want to tell you about a show coming up THIS Saturday night, May 4th, at a bar called The Green Derby in Edison, NJ... It's a special Rock -N- Roll night at the Green Derby with Buzzard Wagon and The Junk Rumblers performing live on stage. The event will be hosted by Jeff "The King of The Bop" Rokosz. An art exhibit by Talon Art will also be featured. The Junk Rumblers will go on 9pm-ish and Buzzard Wagon will hit the stage at 10pm with two full sets. Jeff "The King of The Bop" Rokosz will be spinning raucous vinyl between band sets. Buzzard Wagon is getting quite a "buzz" (pun intended) in their neck of the woods-- They have a solid rockin', slightly hillbilly-ish hybrid thing going on, that rolls like a wide-open Freightliner Semi-Truck sinisterly speeding through the torrid Tennessee hills. Admission is FREE- No cover charge! Hot Rodders and Street Freaks are encouraged to drive their rides to the show. The Green Derby Bar is located at 2024 Woodbridge Avenue in Edison, New Jersey... Switching gears... We'd like to send out Happy Birthday wishes to Lewis Bloom. Many of you might know Lewis as the official NHRA "Stat Guy". Those of us 'round here have known Lewis for many moons from his longtime announcing gig at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. Lewis Bloom turns 54 on this Birthday and we wish him so many more...
Buzzard Wagon and The Junk Rumblers Live! Hosted by Jeff "The King of Bop" Rokosz. Plus an art exhibit by Talon Art. It all happens THIS Saturday night at The Green Derby bar in Edison, NJ. This should prove to be a gosh darn good time for all.
I certainly recommend this show for all my readers residing in the New York and New Jersey area.
